The goal of the project was to design an integrated and efficient software ecosystem that enhances workflow and communication for law enforcement by consolidating disparate court and police software applications into a unified solution. This system aims to streamline data sharing and ensure interoperability between court systems and police car mobile applications, ultimately improving usability, efficiency, and functionality for law enforcement personnel.

• Conducted interviews with all user types to gain a deep understanding of their needs, challenges, and workflows.
• Defined key personas and user types, representing the diverse range of individuals interacting with the system, including court personnel and officers in the field.
• Mapped detailed workflows for each of the 4 applications to ensure the solution addressed specific tasks and pain points for each user type effectively.
• Audited existing court software applications from Courtware to identify redundancies, gaps, and areas for consolidation.
• Designed and consolidated multiple applications into a single cohesive system to promote seamless data communication and interoperability.

Ecosystem Creation:

• Developed an integrated solution that leverages CloudCop for mobile RMS and in-car police laptops, and Courtware for court software.
• Ensured all systems function as an interconnected ecosystem, enabling real-time data sharing between court systems and law enforcement platforms.

User-Centered Design:

• Focused on creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces tailored to the needs of different personas, ensuring a seamless experience across laptops and mobile devices.
• Streamlined workflows to simplify tasks such as records management, case updates, and communication between court and field operations.
